Stage 3 shows more significant thinning and in some cases balding. The hairline is receding even more at the temples and hair is also falling out at the crown/vertex.
If the affected areas are still sparsely covered with hair we can add SMP density without the need to shave your hair.

In stage 4 the hairline recession is more severe and you experience balding at the crown/vertex. A band of hair connects the sides. Adding the appearance of hair density would not work in those areas.
At this point we suggest that you shave or buzz cut your hair. We fill in the crown and restore your hairline. This is the only way that hair micropigmentation will blend in seamlessly with the rest of your hair.

In stage 5 the hair loss areas expand even more. The hair band separating the 2 balding areas is getting thinner.
We suggest that you shave or cut the remaining hair very short. We cover the crown and bring your hairline forward.

In stage 6 the balding crown area merges with the balding temples. The hair band connecting the sides is almost nonexistent.
We suggest that you shave or cut the remaining hair very short. We cover the top of your head, blending in with the sides and bring your hairline forward.

In stage 7 on the Norwood scale, the top is fully bald and the sides are also quite low. The area that needs to be covered with Scalp Micropigmentation is quite large, but still doable.
We fill in the whole top, build a hairline of your choice and blend into your remaining hair on the sides and back.
